The process for a successful project
We follow a well-defined process to transform your vision into reality, guiding you through each phase with care and expertise. From initial discussions to final touches, our approach ensures a seamless experience.
1 ) Consultation
Our process begins with a detailed consultation to understand your vision and needs. We visit your home or site to discuss your ideas, preferences, and budget to ensure we’re aligned on the scope and goals of your renovation project.
2 ) Planning
Next, we plan your project and create a detailed scope of work or contract. We will review this together in detail before you sign.
3 ) The Project: Phase 1, Finishes
During Phase 1, you'll meet your Sammamish Remodel Finishes Expert, who will be your main point of contact throughout this stage. They’ll guide you to the best places to select your finishes like countertops, lighting, flooring, tile, and more. They'll also create a custom budget, help with ordering, and track these essential materials. Construction cannot begin until we have the items you’ve chosen ready for installation.
4 ) The Project: Phase 2, Construction
During Phase 2—the build phase—our skilled team brings your plans to life. You'll be introduced to your site manager, who becomes your main point of contact during construction. We handle every detail, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while keeping you informed and addressing any adjustments as needed. This is when we would tear out a space or break ground for a new build.
5 ) The Final Walkthrough
Upon completion, we conduct a thorough final walkthrough to ensure everything meets your expectations. We address any last-minute touches, provide you with care instructions, and ensure you’re fully satisfied with your newly renovated space.
6 ) Enjoy!!!
Because of such careful planning, we have confidence you'll love your new space. Please let your family and friends know about our services so we can help bring them the home they deserve and love!

Will a renovation project add value to my home?
Yes, a well-executed renovation project can add significant value to your home. Factors such as the type of renovation, the quality of materials used, and the current market conditions will influence the added value. Projects that typically yield high returns include kitchen upgrades, bathroom remodels, and adding energy-efficient features. We can guide you on which renovations will provide the best return on investment based on your goals.
Is your process transparent?
Absolutely. Transparency is a cornerstone of our process. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, we ensure you’re informed every step of the way. This includes detailed project timelines, clear cost breakdowns, and regular updates on progress. Our goal is to make the renovation process as seamless and stress-free as possible for you.
Do I need to get permits for my project?
Most jurisdictions require permits for things like increasing square footage, adding bathrooms, making any structural changes, electrical or plumbing changes, etc.. Permits are typically secured by the architect or sometimes the designer working on your project. We can also take care of the permitting process if you like.
Permits are not required for interior aesthetic remodels for things like painting, flooring, changing cabinets, or miscellaneous small projects. Homeowners are welcome to provide permits for any type of work, although most people typically prefer not to go through the process or spend the money to generate building permits unless required. Please check with your local jurisdiction about permitting your unique project.
