Do I need to get permits for my project?Permits are primarily needed if the square footage of the house is changing, or if we are increasing or decreasing the number of bathrooms in the house. Permits are typically not needed for interior remodels or miscellaneous projects. Homeowners are welcome to provide permits for any type of work, although most prefer to not go through the process or spend the money to generate building permits unless they are required by their locale.
